St Edward's is a very special place. We hope that you find what you are looking for on our website.
Our school is a great venue for local community groups and businesses. Our facilities include classrooms, meeting rooms, and school halls for hire. The spaces available can be used for sports, music, drama, and meetings. We also host musical events, weekend and holiday schools, and league basketball.
The school is situated in Oakdale, Poole, and features a large sports field and sports hall, offering a wide range of sporting opportunities. We also hire out our main hall, dance studio, and several classrooms. St Edward’s has a large car park that can accommodate 120 vehicles, and we have a dedicated site team that oversees all our facilities and assists our hirers.
Here at St Edward’s, we offer a range of rooms and spaces that can be adapted to meet a variety of needs. We are flexible and work with our hirers to configure spaces to meet specific requirements where possible. So, if you need something a little different, please get in touch—we’ll work with you to see how we can meet your needs.
The school is fully accessible, with several ramps and lifts for disabled access. We also have three parking spaces reserved in front of our Reception entrance for vehicles driven by disabled drivers.

St Edward’s is a successful and welcoming school where students and teachers enjoy learning together. As a joint Roman Catholic and Church of England Voluntary Aided school, Christian values are at the heart of everything we do, allowing students to leave us ready to become beacons of light to future generations.
One of our core purposes is to nurture and grow respectful and well-rounded young men and women who are enriched, resilient and curious lifelong learners. We seek to cultivate generations of confident young adults who can connect with others, overcome barriers, and believe in the limitless potential of both themselves and God.
Our school is a happy place to learn and work, with every member of our school community making an important contribution to maintaining our ethos and values. We have high expectations of effort and behaviour and are committed to ensuring that each individual child experiences the best education possible and achieves their full potential.
Our students thrive academically, socially and spiritually during their time with us, and we secure excellence through high quality teaching and a strong emphasis on pastoral care and support.
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy browsing through our website and gaining an insight into the vibrant and wonderful school that is St Edward’s.
